About Us
“Over the past twenty years, we have worked on various properties, from brand-new buildings to very old ones. Each client has unique requirements, and every property demands a different approach. Having operated a decorating business in Frankfurt, Germany for 14 years, we are accustomed to working to the meticulously high standards expected in Germany. SWR have produced work in private homes, regularly inspected and approved by architects, interior designers, and discerning clients”.

Our Costs
We can survey your decoration requirements at a time that suits you, evenings or weekends, just let us know when you would like us to visit.
South West Refresh offers high-quality decoration services at competitive rates, ranging from £26 to £34 per hour. Prices are exclusive of materials, and we do not charge VAT.
A ‘Specification of the Works Required’ is supplied to enable the client to see in detail exactly what work will be undertaken and the materials that are to be used. There will never be any hidden costs or surprises.
Terms of payment: Material costs are requested in advance. We require labour costs to be settled within seven days of the invoice date.
Clear written and verbal communication from the outset ensures your requests and requirements will be met with minimum inconvenience.
We Pride Ourselves On..
Meticulous Preparation
Decoration is all about preparation, and there aren’t any shortcuts. A very experienced decorator who worked for us many years ago said 80% of decoration is preparation and he wasn’t wrong. SW Refresh continues in this vein by preparing all surfaces as they should be, correctly sanded, filled, primed, sanded again, undercoated, and then receiving two finishing paint applications. Some situations where surfaces have been well-maintained will require less work, but other neglected surfaces may require more.
Technical Knowledge
The advancement of acrylic paints in recent years has been impressive. At one time oil-based paints were always the go-to products but this has changed. When the correct paints and sealants are used with the highest quality brushes, and DeWalt cordless power tools in conjunction with many years of experience, the result is a service that is rarely matched.

Full interior decoration of a renovated cottage. The same colour of Earthborne paint was used throughout the property. Both ceilings and walls are painted in the same colour to make rooms look bigger.
